8 Days – Ladakh Tour Package

Discover the enchanting landscapes of Leh-Ladakh, home to the world’s highest motorable road, and immerse yourself in the beauty of snow-covered mountains. Ladakh is fast becoming one of India’s most Instagrammable destinations, famed for its awe-inspiring scenery, pristine glacial lakes, and winding mountain roads. With its exceptional views and crystal-clear lakes, Ladakh has become a must-visit destination for travelers around the globe. Beyond its natural splendor, you can also explore the ancient Shey Palace and the 1,000-year-old Thiksey and Hemis Buddhist monasteries, often tucked away deep within the mountains. While you’re there, make sure to visit iconic sites like the Shanti Stupa, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Sangam Point, and the Magnetic Hill. Take a thrilling road trip to Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable pass in the world. Experience the remote beauty of Turtuk village near the Pakistan border and journey to Zero Point. Explore the world’s highest saltwater lake, Pangong Lake, and embark on a camel safari through the cold desert of Nubra Valley, where you can also explore the Shyok River. You can also visit the majestic Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery for a deep dive into the region’s rich cultural history.

A representative from Tusk Travel will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Take some time to rest and acclimate to the weather. In the afternoon, feel free to explore the old town and get familiar with the charming city. For a stunning view of the area, visit the Shanti Stupa in the evening. Spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Leh.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading out for the Shyam Valley excursion. En route, stop at the renowned Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, followed by a visit to Magnetic Hill, where your car appears to move uphill even when in neutral. Next, explore the Sangam Point, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Return to the hotel in Leh and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Nubra Valley, crossing the Khardungla Pass, known as the highest motorable road in the world. Enjoy stunning views of the snow-capped mountains surrounding Khardungla Pass (18,380 feet). On the way to Nubra Valley, make a stop to admire the impressive 106-foot statue of the Future Buddha. In the evening, you can experience a Camel Safari and explore the cold desert of Nubra Valley. During your stay, you will spend the night at a camp.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, a gateway to the Siachen Glacier and the last Indian outpost before entering Pakistani-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan. Turtuk offers a unique experience, distinct from Ladakh, as it is part of Gilgit-Baltistan, a region with its own linguistic, cultural, and historical identity. The landscape here is strikingly different, with narrow valleys and steep mountains, unlike the central Ladakh and Nubra areas. The lower altitude of Turtuk allows for green pastures, where fresh fruits like apricots and apples are grown. Return to Nubra for an overnight stay.

Enjoy an early breakfast and then depart for a visit to Pangong Lake via Shyok. The vibrant colors of the lake’s water are truly mesmerizing. Situated at an altitude of 4,267 meters, with a length of 130 km and a width of about 6 km, Pangong Lake is the highest saltwater lake in the world. The crystal-clear surroundings, along with the stunning hills that encircle it, add to its beauty. Spend some quiet moments in nature, enjoying dinner and the starry night sky. Stay overnight in Pangong.

Spend the morning at the camps, savoring a delicious breakfast and making unforgettable memories. Then, begin your drive back to Leh, crossing the Changla La pass along the way. You should reach Leh by the afternoon. Take some time to shop at the local markets or simply unwind and relax. After dinner, enjoy a restful nap to recharge for the next day’s adventures.

After breakfast, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of Leh. Start by visiting Shey Palace and Thikse Monastery, where you can admire stupas, statues, Thangkas, wall paintings, and a large pillar depicting Buddha’s teachings. After lunch, drive to Hemis Monastery, established in 1630, and the oldest monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Later, visit the Stok Palace Museum. Conclude your day by spending your last night in Leh.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to the airport. You will be dropped off at Leh Airport, marking the end of our tour filled with cherished memories.
