Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your representative with the traditional greeting, “Ayubowan!” (May You Live Long!). Afterward, embark on your journey to Anuradhapura. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for retired and orphaned elephants. Continue your journey to Anuradhapura, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka dating back to the 3rd century BC and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Overnight: Anuradhapura

After breakfast in the morning, begin your tour with a visit to the Sri Maha Bodhi, the world’s oldest historically documented tree. Explore the Brazen Palace, Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba, Abeygiri and Jetawana Monasteries, and admire the beautifully preserved rock-cut statues of Lord Buddha, along with the ruins of ancient palaces. Also, visit the Isurumuniya Rock Temple. Later, continue your journey to Dambulla. On the way, stop to visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, also known as Lion’s Rock, and marvel at the frescoes of the Heavenly Maidens. Arrive in Dambulla in the evening, where you will check in at your hotel. The rest of the evening is free for relaxation.

Overnight: Dambulla

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a visit to the Dambulla Rock Temple, known for its ancient caves and the towering Buddha statue. Next, journey towards Kandy, with a stop in Matale to explore a renowned spice garden. Continue your drive to Kandy, where you will check in at your hotel upon arrival. The evening is free for you to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Overnight: Kandy

After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Kandy Lake, and the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic. Explore the vibrant Kandy Town Bazaar, the Arts and Crafts Center, and the Gems Museum and Lapidary. In the evening, enjoy a captivating traditional Sri Lankan dance performance. Overnight: Kandy

After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, with a stop at Hakgala along the way. Visit the Anjaneyar (Hanuman) Temple in Ramboda, part of the Ramayana Trail, where you can see the footprints of Lord Hanuman. Continue your journey with a visit to a tea factory. Next, visit the Sita Amman Temple, a site traditionally linked to Sita from the Ramayana epic, where you can see ancient statues of Rama and Sita. Then, explore the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, also known as Ashok Vatika, one of King Ravana’s pleasure gardens. Finally, continue your drive to Nuwara Eliya, where you will check in at your hotel upon arrival.

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Bentota, a charming coastal town in Sri Lanka renowned for its pristine sandy beaches. Situated at the southern end of the “Golden Mile” from Colombo, Bentota is also home to the majestic marine turtle. Known as the “Paradise Island” of Sri Lanka, you can enjoy a scenic boat ride in Bentota. The evening is free for you to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Overnight: Bentota

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and head to the Turtle Hatchery for a visit in the morning. Next, travel by coach to Kelaniya to explore the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, a historic Buddhist temple dating back to the 3rd century B.C. Also, visit a shrine dedicated to Vibushana, the brother of King Ravana, who allied with Rama in the mission to rescue Sita. Continue your journey to Colombo, where you’ll enjoy a city tour, including landmarks such as the century-old clock tower, colonial-era buildings, Hindu and Buddhist temples, and important sites like the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Parliament House, Police Headquarters, and the President’s Palace. In the evening, transfer to the airport for your flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of your tour.
