Day 01: Arrive in Delhi

Arriving by International flight, you will get a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) from our associates. They will assist you from the airport to hotel check-in. You will be surprised to know that Delhi is a bustling metropolis because it combines its antiquity with its modernity. All the successive dynasties choose it for the seat of power because of its strategic location. In fact, many mythological cities like Indraprastha (from the Hindu epic Mahabharata, founded around 5000 BC) are believed to be here. Many numerous monuments were built by different rulers like Qutub-ud-din Aibek, Alauddin Khilji, Tughlaqs, Humayun & Shahjahan (who built the Walled City Shahjahanabad) in different centuries. Today we take a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th-century walled city of Shahjahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built-in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best-known mosque in India. Later we walk down through Chandni Chowk, the old marketplace of Shahjahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan. After this, in New Delhi, we will visit Rajghat & the memorial of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. This is the simple black marble platform place where Mahatma Gandhi's last rites were performed on 31 January 1948. After visiting the memorial we drove out for the India Gate. India Gate is the memorial that was built in 1931 in memory of soldiers who died in world war 1 & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers are inscribed on the walls here. In this duration, we will take a tour of the official residence of the President's house which was built in 1931. Till 1950, it was known as the Viceroy’s house which was the residence of the Governor-General of British India. We will also take a look at Humayun's Tomb (memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun) built in the year 1562. This place is a World Heritage Site & the first architecture example in India made by Mughals. Qutub Minar built in 1206 AD by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. Qutub Minar (tallest brick, 72cm) is an important example of Indo-Islamic architecture. The Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening you will be roaming through the shopping streets in Cannaught place. Day 02: Delhi - Jaipur (262km - 5hr)

On our third day tour, we drive towards Jaipur (also known as Pink City). Jaipur can be seen as the flamboyant or colorful capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur has its own rich & colorful past and it has the tales of its bravery too. It is one of the most visited places in India. This city was founded in 1728 by Sawai Jai Singh ll who was the ruler of Amber. Jaipur is the only single city in the world that symbolizes the nine divisions of the universe, through its nine rectangular regions. Optional tour - Chokhi Dhani Apart from this, you have another possibility. We have planned an evening trip to the Chokhi Dhani complex. Choki Dhani is an ethnic village resort which is located at a distance of 15 km from Jaipur. Here you will see that Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground & it includes the entertainment by folk dancers & musicians. Later we will drive back to the hotel. Day 03: Jaipur Full-Day Tour

Today we will take a tour of Amber Fort. This place is a complex which stands from the commencement of the ruling day of Raja Man Singh. We will take an elephant ride to reach over the fort on the hill. Trust us, it will give you an overwhelming experience. Later we will visit the city palace. City Palace can be said as an example of a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. This place consists of a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace. You will get the finest view over the garden and the city. After coming back we will take a tour of Jantar-Mantar (Solar Observatory). It is absolutely an astronomical treasure house with all the solar devices which gives you accurate predictions of till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (places of wind). This is a place that has five-storied structures of pink sandstones. It was built in the year 1799 because veiled royal women could peer down to the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (also called mini windows). Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore (145km -3hr)

The more experience set forth on the 4th day of the tour when you will reach the famous Ranthambore National Park. This is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the Chambal River in the south. It is called after the historic Ranthambore fortress. This is lies within the park. Here this Park was established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Indian Government and this was declared as Project Tiger reserves in 1973. This became a National Park in 1980. Later in 1991, the tiger reserve was enlarged to include Sawai Man Singh & Keladevi sanctuaries. This has a total area of 1334 km. It is a famous place for its tiger population and also is one of India's Project Tiger reserves. You will see that the other Major wild animals found in the national park include many animals like the tiger, leopard, Nilgai, dholes, wild pig, Sambar, chital & the gaur. This is also home to a wide variety of trees, plants, birds & reptiles. In the evening, we will take a Jeep safari. Day 05: Ranthambore

Today, we will continue with the wildlife safari at the Ranthambore National Park. We will get up early in the morning. Then we will start with the Jeep Safari to the Tiger Reserve. Since becoming one of the original areas under Project, this park has recovered much of its natural beauty & dry deciduous forest has been restored. In the latter half of the day, we will visit the Ranthambore Fort. This was founded in the year 944 by the Chauhan Rajputs. It was led by Govinda Raja, grandson of Prithviraj became the center of Chauhan’s resistance to the expanding Sultanate of Delhi after the defeat of the Chauhan king Prithviraj III by Muhammad of Ghori in the year 1192. Later after many battles and rulers, it had come in hands of Mughals Emperor Akbar in the year 1559. The fortress passed to the Kachhawa Maharajas of Jaipur in the 17th century. This remained part of Jaipur state until Indian Independence. Here the area surrounding the fortress became a hunting ground for the Maharajas of Jaipur. Day 06: Ranthambore – Bharatpur (255km -05hr)

Sharp in the morning, we will be visiting the Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary. This was founded by Maharaja Suraj Mal in the year 1733. It was once an impregnable, well-fortified city, & the capital of a kingdom ruled by Jat maharajas. The trio trip of Bharatpur, Deeg & Dholpur. This has played an important part in the Jat history of Rajasthan. This sanctuary was previously known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Now, this is known as Keoladeo National Park. The name Keoladeo is acquired from the name of an ancient Hindu temple which is devoted to Lord Shiva. In the sanctuary's central zone while the Hindi term 'Ghana' implies dense the thick areas of forest cover. This is a magnificent park that having one of the World's greatest and the most important heronries. This is located at the junction of Gambhir & Banganga Rivers in Bharatpur district. Now, this is a World Heritage site by UNESCO. This former duck-hunting reserve of the Maharajas. This place is one of the major wintering areas for large numbers of aquatic birds from Afghanistan, Siberia & Turkmenistan. Day 07: Bharatpur - Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (55 km – 2 hr)

After breakfast, we will drive towards Agra. En route, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri (Ghost Capital). This is the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under Akbar's reign. This is from the year 1571-1585. when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. We will visit several places like Emperor Akbar's Residential complex, Mosque & Tomb of Salim Chisti. Then we will continue our drive towards Agra. We visit Agra which is beautifully situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. It achieved prominence as the capital of the Mughal Emperors from 1526-1628. After this, we will step towards many splendid Mughal-era monuments like the most notably Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri. All three are UNESCO World Heritage sites. We will visit the Taj Mahal which is situated on the banks of the river Yamuna (Friday closed). Taj Mahal is a symbol of eternal love which was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in1631, in the memory of his wife Mumtaj. You will be surprised to know that it was completed in 22 years and Shahjahan cut down the hands of the workers who built the Taj Mahal so that another monument like this could not be built. , we visit Agra Fort which is taken by the Mughal Emperor Akbar from the Lodhis in the late 16th Century. This can be accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built by red sandstone, inlaid with white marble & intricate decorations. Overnight Hotel - Agra (B)

Day 08: Agra-Delhi via Sikandra (220km – 5hr) Half-Day Tour

Today is the last day of our tour. After breakfast, we will continue with the travel tour in Agra. We will also visit Sikandra, Akbar's tomb. Akbar’s son Jahangir completed the construction of the tomb in the year 1613. Further, we will continue our drive towards Delhi. We will visit Rajghat & the memorial of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. This is the simple black marble platform place where Mahatma Gandhi's last rites were performed on 31 January 1948.
