Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in India. Located to the northwest of Ajmer, the tranquil city of Pushkar is a favoured destination for thousands of tourists and devotees flocking to Rajasthan. Situated at a height of 510 metres, Pushkar is surrounded by hillocks on three sides. The ‘Nag Pahar’, literally meaning Snake Mountain forms a natural border between Ajmer and Pushkar. Known as ‘the rose garden of Rajasthan’, the essence of the famous Pushkar rose is exported all over the world. Along with an interesting mythological history, a legacy of timeless architectural heritage makes Pushkar a fascinating city.

Day 01 Arrive- Delhi

Arriving by International flight, you will get a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) from our associates. They will assist you from the airport to hotel check-in.

Day 02 Delhi / Mandawa (280 km / 6 hrs)

Early morning you will drive to Mandawa. Mandawa is located in South West Delhi. On arrival, we will assist you in check-in at our Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 Mandawa / Bikaner (160 km / 4 hrs)

Post breakfast you will depart for a half-day sightseeing tour. This will be covering the Shekhawati region, rich in fresco painted dwellings. This area is often referred to as the "Open Air Gallery" of Rajasthan. Later you will leave for Bikaner and check-in at our hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 Bikaner / Jaisalmer (325 km / 6 hrs)

Bikaner is located at a distance of 160 Kms from Mandawa. This highlights in the tourist map because of the Junagarh Fort which has palatial rooms richly adorned with emeralds and intricate carvings in gold. Later you will leave for Jaisalmer. On arrival, you will check-in at our hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05 Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is the heart of the Thar Desert. This is one of the last princely bastions of the region and Founded on the crossroads of lucrative trade routes. These are the routes where the rich merchants hired craftsmen who worked with great diligence. This work happens on the sandstone mansions they built, filing up facades with sculpture filigree, screen windows, delicate pavilions, and balconies. We will visit the Jaisalmer Fort, built in the year 1156 by Rawal Jaisal. This is situated on the 80m-high hill. It is the only 'Living Fort' in India. Within its ramparts has an enchanting cow-web of narrow lanes dotted. This place is dotted with some lovely Havelis (Mansions) and Palaces. This Jain temple was gorgeously sculptured in the 12th-15th century AD. They were crafted by experienced artisans. They are a treat for an eye & not to forget the ubiquitous camels. We will also visit the brilliant Patwon Ki Haveli and Gadi Sagar Lake.

Day 06 Jaisalmer / Jodhpur (290 km / 6 hrs)

Early morning we will drive to Jodhpur. This city is a glittering blend of modern and traditional architecture reflecting upon its numerous palaces. Jodhpur city is a bustling desert city which is the second-largest city in Rajasthan and it has a landscape overlooked by the massive Mehrangarh Fort topping a sheer rocky ridge. The enchanting forts, temples and other royal houses have grasped an ancient character. This comprises the town's multifaceted attractions. Upon arrival, we will help you check-in at the hotel. A leisurely evening arises highlighted by folk dances of Rajasthan. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07 Jodhpur

Post breakfast, we will do a half-day tour of Jodhpur. We will visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort. Surely this the most prominent landmark of the city which was followed by Jaswant Thada - the white marble memorial of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, built-in 1899. Then Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08 Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur (325 km / 5 hrs)

In the morning we will drive to Ranakpur to visit the Jain Temple Complex. This is with 29 halls dissected by 1444 pillars, each sculpted with unique designs. Lunch is suggested at the nearby Maharani Bagh Orchard retreat. Tour continues to Udaipur, which is another 80 km and a drive of roughly 2 hrs. Set around the vast Pichola Lake and dominated by dramatic palaces, Udaipur is Rajasthan's most picturesque city. Overnight stay.

Day 09 Udaipur

The "City of Lakes" awaits your attention on this day. Morning tour of Udaipur's fascinating City Palace. This palace is molded-in soft yellow stone. It has a windowless base and this is crowned with ornate turrets and canopies. This part of the Palace is now a museum. This museum has its marble and granite walls laden, with brilliant miniature paintings and decorated with colored glass and mirrors. The tour will continue to the garden of the Maids of Honour and Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum. At sunset, we will use a boat to visit amidst the romantic waters of Lake Pichola. Then an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 Udaipur / Pushkar (275 km / 6 hrs.)

In the morning post breakfast departs for Pushkar. Pushkar city is located on the edge of the desert. This lies the small tranquil town of Pushkar on the bank of the charming Pushkar Lake. The Pushkar is an important travel spot for the Hindus. Here is the only temple of Lord Brahma in the country and one of the few in the world. Lord Brahma is recognized as the creator of the world as per Hindu mythology. It's marked by a red tower, and over the entrance gateway is the Hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma who is said to have individually chosen Pushkar as its place. The function of Brahma creating the world - has been completed. During while the Vishnu (the preserver) and Shiva (the destroyer) still have a connection to the continuing order of the universe. Brahma is also used to be a God of the Aryan invaders. And during Vedic times his cult temporarily displaced the more ancient indigenous Shiva and Shakti cults. By the passing of the time of major Aryan influence, these deities reemerged more powerful than before. Here the lake has a mythological significance connected with it. According to the story, Lord Brahma was on his way to search for a suitable spot to perform a "Yagna' (a fire sacrifice) while contemplating, a lotus dropped from his hand on the earth. The water sprouted from that place. Pushkar was one of them where Lord Brahma performed" Yagna". Evening at leisure and overnight you will stay at a hotel.

Day 11 Pushkar Fair

Pushkar brings alive the rich tradition of Rajasthan enhancing the glory of the golden sand with the Pulsating beats of vivid images of the Sacred Brahma land. In the month of Kartik spectacular Fair Ground fill with bedecked Camels, decorated cattle's, adventure competitions, breathtaking events, jostling rustic crowd, meditating sadhus, holy dip, vivid stalls, exotic fair, colorful desert, so typical, and it looks so obvious. You can not see this type of seen anything else but Pushkar Fair. An amalgamation of a fabulous juxtaposition of commerce and services. Pushkar Fair will prove to you a lifetime experience in the very Holy Land. The evenings are held with their own charm. Deepdaan creates a spectacular look at the sacred lake. The silent night penetrated by camel calls, folklore, dramas, and heart-throbbing beats of folk music and dances. This fair brings a great number of tourists from far and wide. The places reverberate with festivity. As rows of alternative stalls display bewildering array items. Body tattooing is yet another favorite liveliness. The plenty of colors that run riot in the desert sand. The glee and the taking energy of the village folk are a different adventure for every visitor. This village is organized in blocks of tents. Each by its own identity and titled after the famous dance of Rajasthan. This village also has huts (homes). The unique part is that they attached with the western methods toilets and running water. Day 13 Pushkar / Jaipur (132 km / 3 hrs)

Early morning we’ll leave for Aarti (Prayer). After breakfast, you will be departing for Jaipur. Upon arrival, we will assist you in check-in at our hotel. This leisurely evening accompanied by an overnight stay.

Day 14 Jaipur

In the early morning, we will drive 11 km towards Amber. Amber is an outstanding capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. We will climb to the fort on elephant back and a tour of the Palace. Later we will visit the places like City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the Palace of Winds. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15 Jaipur / Bharatpur / Sikri / Agra (260 km / 6 hrs)

In the early morning, we will drive to Agra via Bharatpur. An erstwhile royal hunting retreat famous for its proximity in Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Ghana National park has the largest concentration and variety of birdlife in all of Asia. Rest by we will visit Fatehpur Sikri. This place is one of the capital cities of Akbar. The aforementioned new capital came up in 1569. Upon arrival at Agra, we will assist you in check-in at our hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 16 Agra / Delhi (220 km / 4 hrs.)

We visit Agra which is beautifully situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. It achieved prominence as the capital of the Mughal Emperors from 1526-1628. After this, we will step towards many splendid Mughal-era monuments like the most notably Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri. All three are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Post breakfast you will depart for Delhi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 17 Delhi

You will be surprised to know that Delhi is a bustling metropolis because it combines its antiquity with its modernity. All the successive dynasties choose it for the seat of power because of its strategic location. In fact, many mythological cities like Indraprastha (from the Hindu epic Mahabharata, founded around 5000 BC) are believed to be here. Many numerous monuments were built by different rulers like Qutub-ud-din Aibek, Alauddin Khilji, Tughlaqs, Humayun & Shahjahan (who built the Walled City Shahjahanabad) in different centuries. After the reign of the rulers, New Delhi was planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens (who laid out a grandiose central administrative area as a testament to British rule in India) in the 20th century. The diversion in walled city & New Delhi also affected the people’s lifestyle too.

Day 18 Depart for onward destination

Tour concludes. MANDALA thanks you for your patronage and we will ensure a punctual transfer to Airport / Railway Station for onward travel.
